Watercolor/Sketching Plein Air Workshop with watercolorist Tom Biggs
Participants will meet at the Cobblestone Classroom Annex and then head out to sketch and paint in the open air around the historic Medicine Park area on Friday afternoon and Saturday morning. After sketching, participants will return to the classroom to complete works of art.
Friday, April 5, 2013 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. (Optional) & Saturday, April 6, 2013 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.( or until finished) Lunch will be from Noon to 1 p.m. Participates have a choice of restaurants in Medicine Park or can bring their own lunch. $60 (Make check to Cobblestone Galleries & mail to P.O. Box 85, Medicine Park, OK 73557 to hold spot in workshop.) Space is limited, so be sure to sign-up and send check to hold space.

Permanent black ink pen (Sharpie hard point will work, but not the soft point)
Sketching book or pad (at least 100# paper)
Set of basic watercolors (small set if you want to color on site). Students will be watercoloring back in the workshop classroom, so size is not important.
Set of basic watercolor brushes (don’t have to be expensive for first painters)
If student uses single sheets of paper, they will need a board (drawing, painting, or Masonite) big enough to fit the paper (Average size paper would be 9x12”).
Small container to hold water
Roll of paper towels
Tom Biggs will have some extra supplies in case a student forgets something.
